Where Field Players Showcase Their Impact!
Field Wars Ink, a Division of Keeper Wars Ink™, is a soccer competition initiative designed and built for field players. Inspired by Dutch competition and training methodologies, this unique 4v4 tournament allows field players to sign up individually and compete on different teams throughout the event. The concept behind this format is to identify the players who make the most impact on a team by watching them rise to the top of the player pool, throughout the event weekend.
The Field Wars 4v4 Tournament is a small-sided competition where players are placed on a new team each game. The games are 16 minutes long, with a 4 minute halftime. After each game, new teams are randomly selected.
All Players on the team receive individual points for each game played. (4 games guaranteed, more if they advance.) After all games are played, winners are decided by individual tournament points collected. Points are recorded after each game and players receive points as followed:
- For each goal scored by a team, all players on that team receive 1 point.
- For each team win, all players on that team receives 3 points.
- If the team gets a shutout, all players on that team receive an additional 2 points.
- Win = 3 points, Tie = 0 points, Loss = 0 points
- All goals scored, regardless of the outcome, are counted.
After all round-robin games are completed, top players from each age group will be selected to play in a championship game.
